Welcome to Spectrum Care. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website located at https://spectrumcare.co.in (the "Website") and the home caregiver support services ("Services") provided by Spectrum Care ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing the Website or booking our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or Services.

1. Scope of Services

Spectrum Care acts as a coordination agency providing home care assistants, mobility attendants, and elder care partners. We assess your requirements and deploy caregivers to your location in Bangalore.

Our caregivers provide daily support according to the service type. Caregivers are strictly for non-clinical home assistance, daily task support, and daily care. We do not provide clinical medical procedures.

2. Emergency Medical Situations

Spectrum Care is NOT an emergency medical service. Our caregivers are trained to provide daily support for stable individuals. In the event of a medical emergency, you or the family members present must immediately call an ambulance or contact a hospital. Spectrum Care will not be held liable for any outcomes during a sudden medical emergency.

Emergency Coordination: Where Spectrum Care coordinates ambulance or emergency transport on behalf of a client, we act as a facilitator only. The ambulance service provider is an independent third party and Spectrum Care bears no liability for their response times, conduct, or clinical outcomes.

3. Bookings and Payments

• Quotes: All service quotes provided are estimates based on the initial assessment and are subject to change if requirements change.
• Payments: Payments must be made directly to Spectrum Care via the accepted payment methods. You agree not to make any direct cash payments to the caregiver unless explicitly authorized by our management.
• Advances: A minimum advance payment (as specified during booking) is required before the deployment of staff.

4. Cancellations and Replacements

• Cancellation by User: You may cancel or pause the service by providing a minimum 24-hour notice. Cancellations made without adequate notice may incur a 1-day service charge.
• Replacements: If you are unsatisfied with the assigned caregiver, we will arrange a replacement within 24 to 48 hours, subject to availability.
• Staff Absence: In the event of sudden sickness or absence of the caregiver, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a backup caregiver promptly.

5. User Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective support, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete details of relevant daily needs and routines.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and hazard-free working environment for our caregivers.
• Provide basic amenities (meals, resting space for 24-hour live-in staff) as agreed upon during booking.
• Not engage the assigned caregiver for direct private employment during or within 6 months after the termination of our services.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we conduct profile assessments and onboarding, our caregivers are human. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectrum Care shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
