1. Geographic and Service Limits
Spectrum Care operates exclusively as a Bangalore-based coordinator of non-clinical elder caregiving and daily living support for seniors. We do not provide pediatric therapy, speech therapy, child developmental care, or clinical psychiatric services.
2. Non-Medical and Non-Clinical Services
Spectrum Care is a coordination agency connecting families with home caregivers, elder care partners, and mobility assistants in Bangalore.
- No Medical Practice: We are not a medical provider, hospital, or clinic. Our caregivers are trained to provide daily living support, meal preparation, housekeeping, walking help, and companionship. They are strictly non-clinical.
- No Clinical Procedures: Caregivers deployed by us are not authorized to administer injections, manage intravenous (IV) lines, handle clinical catheters, dress complex surgical wounds, or perform any other professional medical/clinical treatments. For clinical procedures, families must hire a registered, licensed medical professional.
3. Emergency Medical Facilitation
Our care coordinators and caregivers will assist families in arranging emergency medical transport if a patient under our care experiences a sudden medical deterioration.
- No Ambulance Operation: Spectrum Care does not own, license, or operate emergency vehicles or ambulance services.
- Facilitator Only: Any ambulance coordinated by our team is operated by an independent third-party provider in Bangalore. Spectrum Care act solely as a facilitator and bears no responsibility or liability for ambulance dispatch times, vehicle equipment functionality, paramedic conduct, or patient clinical outcomes.
- Emergency Action: In a life-threatening scenario, families should contact government emergency numbers (like 108) or hospital emergency lines immediately rather than relying on coordination.
4. Medical Equipment Rental Coordination
As a convenience to families, we coordinate the rental and setup of home medical equipment (such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, and walkers).
- Third-Party Vendors: This equipment is supplied and maintained by third-party partner vendors in Bangalore. We do not manufacture, sell, or directly service this equipment.
- Liability Limitation: We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the technical quality, safety compliance, or operational integrity of the equipment. Technical failures, maintenance, and setup errors remain the sole responsibility of the respective vendor.
5. Recovery Care for Visitors (Medical Tourism)
While we provide post-discharge home care and recovery support for out-of-town or international patients visiting Bangalore, our scope is strictly limited to home care.
- No Visa or Travel Brokerage: We do not offer medical tourism visa sponsorship, flight bookings, hospital appointment scheduling, medical treatment recommendations, or translation services.
- Home Care Only: Our services start only after discharge, providing caregiver and daily living assistance at your local hotel, guest house, or private accommodation.
6. Caregiver Identity and Vetting
We perform standard identity vetting (Aadhaar verification checks) and personal reference checks on all our care partners before onboarding them.
- Standard Precautions: These checks are profile-level verifications. We advise client families to secure all cash, jewellery, keys, and valuable personal property. Spectrum Care is not liable for loss or caregiver conduct that occurs in private homes.
